The M20 Inline Weather-Resistant Connector (also known as an M20 straight coupler or I-type axial sealed junction) is a cylindrical power and signal link consisting of a straight barrel body with an M20×1.5 (PG13.5-class) threaded locking collar on each end. It connects two cable segments in a straight line—one cable enters, one cable exits—while keeping the splice point fully enclosed at IP67/IP68.
Unlike a T-shaped or Y-shaped divider, it does not create a branch; unlike a junction box, it has no interior cavity that could accumulate water or condensation. Think of it as a reusable, field-terminable "extension connector" for outdoor and industrial cable runs that were cut too short, require mid-line repair, or need to pass through a panel opening with a clean sealed entry.
The "inline" design is the key customer feature: low height, no side projection, slips smoothly through conduit, cable trays, or panel holes, and supports up to 20 A (2/3-pin) or 24 A within a 20 mm shell.
