The M20 Straight-Through Waterproof Connector (also called M20 inline coupler / I-type axial waterproof connector) is a circular power/signal interconnect with a straight in-line barrel and an M20×1.5 (PG13.5-class) threaded coupling nut on each end. It joins two cable runs axially—one cable in, one cable out—while keeping the splice point fully sealed at IP67/IP68.
Unlike a T/Y splitter, it does not branch; unlike a junction box, it has no internal cavity to fill with water or condensate. Think of it as a reusable, field-wireable "extension joint" for outdoor and industrial cable runs that got cut too short, need mid-span servicing, or must pass through a panel wall with a clean sealed entry.
The "straight-through" body is the key buyer cue: low profile, no side bulge, passes easily through conduit, cable tray, or panel knockouts, and carries up to 20 A (2/3-pin) or 24 A in a 20 mm shell.
